What is Dynamics CRM Online?

Up and Running in Three Weeks for a Fixed Price

IMG’s OnRamp service for Dynamics CRM Online will get your organization on the fast track to realizing the potential of the platform’s powerful sales, marketing, service management and service scheduling capabilities. Our OnRamp engagements combine configuration, training and customization services to give you the shortest possible time to value.

After your OnRamp engagement, you will be up and running with the most important critical success factors satisfied:

Users enrolled and trained - Data migrated - Customizations implemented - Email integrated - Outlook configured

What You Get; How it Works

In addition to the critical success factors mentioned above, important deliverables of your OnRamp engagement include hard-copy training materials for all participants (a combination of Microsoft Official Curriculum and IMG courseware), IMG-authored Quick Reference Guides, documentation on all configurations and customizations performed, and subscriptions for all participants to IMG-hosted custom online classroom containing documentation, training materials and one month of free user and technical support for your implementation.

In a standard OnRamp engagement, you can go from project start to Release 1.0 in three weeks. Here’s how:

*      Week 1: We start with an online discovery session, discussing your business challenges, goals for CRM implementation, identify required customizations, potential risk factors and critical success factors. Deliverable: OnRamp Plan Document, includes summary of goals, recommended training plan and customizations, project scope.

*      Week 2: We hold an online training session for selected users and administrators, explain OnRamp process and goals, explain and demonstrated core concepts in Dynamics CRM. All users are enrolled in custom online classroom at IMG’s Student Portal, which will be used to expose recordings and various training content throughout the OnRamp engagement and ongoing. Deliverable: communication plan delivered, expectations set.

*      Week 3: This five-day in-person component is the centerpiece of the OnRamp engagement and can be delivered at our facility in Oak Brook, IL, or at your facility. Deliverable: training documentation, Quick Reference Guides, online classrooms built out, users trained, configured and customized CRM Online Release 1 delivered and documented.

This is a collaborative session, where our consultant works side by side with your people, and does mentoring and performs the most important configuration tasks, such as:

Customizing CRM

Custom one-day session for administrators, power-users and customizers. Topics selected from Microsoft Official Curriculum Course M8912 Dynamics CRM 4.0 Customization

For system administrators, power users and customizers; focuses on your customization requirements.

Similar to Day 1, here we mentor, and collaboratively perform the most important platform customizations, such as:

- Customizing Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity entities and forms
- Building custom reports and views
- Custom workflows

  

Investment, Support, Payment Terms

·         Investment.  The standard IMG OnRamp for CRM Online engagement is delivered over the course of three weeks for a total fee of $10,000, exclusive of travel-related expenses, for up to fifteen users. If the in-person component is delivered at your site, estimated travel-related expenses can be provided in advance on a not-to-exceed basis. 

Deliverables. Typical system deliverables that can reasonably be accomplished within the three-week standard OnRamp program include email and Outlook client configuration, data migration for Account and Contact entities, user and security configuration, customization of three entities and associated forms, creation of three business process workflows, and customization of up to ten views. The OnRamp Plan Document (Week 1 deliverable) will include our recommendations for these system deliverables and the overall OnRamp engagement scope. Changes to the deliverables and scope will be managed with a change request process, in which you will have the option of allocating additional budget to accommodate scope changes, implementing the changes yourself, or contracting with IMG to implement additional functionality as part of Release 2.

User and Technical Support. For one month after your OnRamp engagement, IMG will provide User Support and Technical Support for OnRamp participants via monitored discussion groups at your hosted online classroom. Questions will be answered and issues resolved within one business day, or escalated appropriately. Technical Support will be provided to up to two named users (typically administrators or customizers). At the end of the one month free support period, we can provide a proposal for ongoing User and Technical support. Standard User Support fees are $39/user per month; standard Technical Support fees are $69/user per month.

Payment terms. For a standard OnRamp engagement, we invoice the entire $10,000 at project commencement, and require payment according to these milestones: $2,500 at week 1; $2,500 at week 2; $5,000 at end of week 3. Travel-related expenses are required to be paid in advance of in-person session.
